Biography
Dr. Saed Sayad is a data scientist with more than 25 years of experience across data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. He is the founder of Bioada, where he leads biomarker data analytics and created the Genomarker platform, and the inventor of the Real Time Learning Machine (RTLM), an online machine learning method for real-time data mining.
He has held faculty positions on both sides of the border: associate professor of professional practice in the Department of Computer Science at Rutgers University (2018–2022), and adjunct professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering & Applied Chemistry at the University of Toronto (2001–2017).
He is the author of Real Time Data Mining (ISBN 9780986606045) and the creator of the Data Mining Map — the data science tutorial collection on this site, trusted by a million learners since 2010.
